About University’s IIL Ecosystem

As part of Shivaji University's commitment to fostering Innovation, Incubation, and Linkages, the university has established several dynamic and proactive cells and centers, including the R&D Cell, IIC, IPR Cell, UIIC, IAC, SCIIL, SUKRDF, and DST-SAIF-CFC. Under the SCIIL umbrella, the Section 8 company SUKRDF was founded on August 21, 2021. SUKRDF is recognized by the Maharashtra State Innovation Society (MSInS) and serves as a Business Incubator by the Ministry of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME), Government of India. Both SCIIL and SUKRDF are dedicated to providing various forms of support, including mentoring, financial assistance, intellectual property (IP) support, R&D assistance, both working and co-working space, and instrumental resources, to help individuals transform their ideas and prototypes into startups and foster entrepreneurship development. Currently, the university hosts dedicated incubation and pre-incubation facilities, supporting over 100+ startups, 65+ incubatees, 50+ mentors, 140+ patents, and generating 1,000+ articles annually. It has also established 40+ MoUs and operates 100+ innovation and startup cells.

The other organizing departments include Chemistry, Environmental Science, School of Engineering & Technology, MBA Department are leading departments in academic, research endeavors and other extensions activities in align with national priorities.  

 

Event Overview

This conclave brings together academia, industry, and government stakeholders to promote innovation, support entrepreneurship, and encourage collaboration for transformative    impact.    The event   features a  researchers presentations, startup exhibition, pitching, and networking opportunities, aiming to build a strong ecosystem for aspiring entrepreneurs and startups.

 

Importance of the Event

This event offers a unique chance for innovators and startups to gain visibility, connect with industry leaders, access funding opportunities, and receive expert feedback. By fostering collaborations between academia, industry, and government, the conclave aims to create a conductive environment for innovation, bridging the gap between research and commercialization.

 Note

  • Innovators/researchers are only allowed for poster presentations to showcase their innovations having potential towards entrepreneurships
  • The booth setup includes a dedicated space with branding opportunities, featuring display space, a table, chairs, and electricity supply, while offering visibility and networking opportunities with investors, mentors, industry leaders, and policymakers.
  • Selected startup will have a specified time for their pitch presentation, followed by constructive feedback from a panel of experts, and an opportunity to network
  • Government representatives and policy makers are only allowed to attend the conclave.

Online Registration: Interested participants can register their details as either innovator/researcher or startup founder or governmental representative through given online portal.

Note: Registration fee includes conclave kit, breakfast, high tea, lunch, and dinner only.  Accommodation based on payment basis in the SUK guest house (Limited seats)
