It’s my pleasure to announce the commencement of ‘Shivaji University Centre for Innovation, Incubation and Linkages (SCIIL)’. The Centre has been established with a view to provide a platform for students, faculty and all aspiring individuals to foster their innovative ideas and become successful entrepreneurs. The Centre will aid in transfer of knowledge to the industry thus aiding commercialisation of research conducted.
SCIIL has been provided with financial and infrastructural support by Maharashtra State Innovation Society (MSInS), enabling university to start ‘SUK Research and Development Foundation’ (SUKRDF), a Section-8 company formed under Companies Act 2013.
I sincerely believe that SCIIL will cater to all needs of those interested in setting up new business (Start ups), thus giving boost to growth of the university and the Indian Economy.
I express my best wishes to all future entrepreneurs.
