• On 14th November 2024, Celebrated Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru's birth anniversary at porch of the main administrative building of the University. Hon’ble V.C., Pro-V.C., Registar, Authorities, Teachers and Students were Present the function

• On the occasion of this ‘Savidhan Amrit Jubilee Year’, the Department of Political Science and Nehru Study Centre jointly organized a lecture on the topic of 'Freedom of expression, Equality and Secularism' in the Indian Constitution under the Constitution Week at Shivaji University on November 28, 2024. The keynote speaker was Prof. Dr. Surendra Jondhale, Mumbai.

• On the occasion of this ‘Constitution Amrit Jubilee Year’, a lecture on the topic 'Importance of the Indian Constitution for Present era’ was jointly organized by the Department of Political Science and the Nehru Study Centre at Shivaji University under the Constitution Week on 29 November, 2024. The keynote speaker of this lecture was Prof. Dr. Ashok Chausalkar, Political Annalist and Noted thinker.

• Nehru Study Centre, Shivaji University, Kolhapur Organised one-day special lecture on the occasion of National Science Day was held on 28.02.2025 at 11.00 am in the Seminar Hall, Department of Sociology, on the topic "Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru's Contribution and Work in Science and Technology". The chairman of the program was Hon. Dr. V. N. Shinde, Registrar of the university. The keynote speaker of this lecture was Hon. Senior Journalist Dr. Shriram Pawar.

2023-2024

• On 12th August 2023, Organised ‘Yuva Sahnvad’ Programme on ‘Farmers  Suicide’   by Center of Nehru Studies, Amacha gaon Amacha Media Kolhapur, and Department of Social Work, Cyber ​​College, Kolhapur. In this programme  Youth Social Researcher Hon. Vinayak Hegana expressed his valuable views on various issues to youths.

• Celebration of Birth Anniversary of “Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru” in Humanities Building, Shivaji University, Kolhapur on 14 Nov 2023

• On 20 December 2023, a one-day National Seminar on ‘India-China Relations’ was organized at Humanities Auditorium Hall, Humanities Building, Shivaji University, Kolhapur. By Political Science Department, Gandhi and Nehru Studies Center.  Senior Social thinker Dr. Yashwantrao Thorat gave the keynote address while Honorable Vice-Chancellor presided over the lnaugral programme. Hon’ble Shiv Kunal Verma (Kashmir), Dr. Thripathi (Goa), Mrs. (Dr.) Bharti Patil, (Dr.) Ashok Chousalkar, Mr. Shriram Pawar(Senior Journalist), (Dr.) Ravindra Bhange (), (Dr.) Prakash Pawar, (Dr.) Pralhad Mane, (Dr.) Sukhdev Undare delivered lectures, in various sessions of the Seminar.

• On the occasion of Mahatma Gandhi's death anniversary on 30th January 2024, Gandhi Studies Center, Nehru Studies Center Distance Education and Online Education Center jointly organized Lecture of S.K.H. Swami’s,  Gandhian Philosopher (Karnataka) on the topic of ‘Nai Talim: An Experiment in Indian Education’, Under the chairmanship of the Vice-Chancellor at Shahu Senate Auditorium of Shivaji University.

• On 30th January 2024 Gandhi Studies Center  and Nehru Studies Center  organized lecture on  'Nai Talim: An Experiment in Indian Education' at Samarth Vidyamandir, Bedag, Miraj, Dist. Sangli during  03:00 pm. to 06:00 pm. Along with S.K.H Swami as a resource person on this subject, Dr. Pralhad Mane and Sukhdev Undare Delivered lectures on Gandhian Philosophy.

• On 31st January 2024 at Sripatrao Kadam College, Shirwal, Pune, Nehru Studies Center and Gandhi Study Center organized lecture of S.K.H swami  on the topic 'Nai Talim: An Experiment in Indian Education'. Along with S.K.H Swami as a resource person on this subject, Dr. Pralhad Mane and Sukhdev Undare Delivered lectures on Gandhian Philosophy.

• On February 29, 2024,  Organized workshop to Research Students on ‘Research Methodology in Social Science’ at Rusa Hall in the Department of Sociology. Dr. M. S. Deshmukh, Dean, Faculty of Humanities, Dr. Vijay Marulkar, Former Head of Department, S. N. D. T. University, Mumbai, Dr. Santosh Sutar, Assistant Professor (YCSRD), Delivered lectures  in the Workshop.
