Functions of IPR Cell

 

 

  • To create awareness and guide the faculty, staff and students of Shivaji University, Kolhapur on the importance of Intellectual Property Rights (IPR).
  • To disseminate knowledge on patents, patent regime in India and abroad and registration aspects.
  • To work on enabling and supporting technology/IP transfer and commercialization of granted IPRs.
  • To motivate Innovators to come up with new ideas and help them to protect the innovation.
  • To enable IP Policy adoption and implementation at the university.
  • To manage IPR of Shivaji University, Kolhapur.
  • To conduct Workshops, Seminars and Training courses on IPR.
