The Centre for Climate Change and Sustainability Studies, Shivaji University, Kolhapur is devoted to essential and cutting-edge research on the causes of climate change, as well as its effects on sustainable development. Currently, this center employs various faculty members from different fields. It assembles students, faculty, and staff from various universities and institutes who has a common interest in researching, disseminating, and minimising the effects of upcoming climate change on our society, health, and environment. The Centre promotes cutting-edge, multi/trans disciplinary research and will emphasize the creative use of social networks, blogs, advocacy campaigns, as well as peer-reviewed literature and policy briefs, to convey the severity of issues related to climate change and sustainability.
