To organize Workshops, Seminars, Conferences, training programmes and lectures for the students of Journalism and Mass Communication and media persons on the fast changing trends in the media industry. 2. To conduct research projects on the broad theme of ‘Media and Society’ 3. To publish books on Journalism and Mass Communication. 4. To develop Printing Machine Museum in the Shivaji University campus. 5. To develop good media Library in the region of Western Maharashtra. 6. To give media fellowship to research students to prepare Master dissertation or M.Phil and Ph.D research in the subject of Journalism and Mass Communication.
