Dr. Appasaheb Pawar Memorial Lecture Series
Center annually organized the prestigious lecture series in the memory of Late Dr.  Appasaheb Pawar, the first Vice Chancellor of the Shivaji University, Kolhapur and also a renowned Historian of Maratha History

•     Prof. Dr. G. B. Shah, Former Head, Dept. of History , Dhule 
      Delivered Lecture on “Marathas in Khandesh” 
 
Lecture series 2015-16
•    Prof. Dr. Varsha Shirgaokar Prof. Head SNDT Women’s University, Mumbai
      Delivered a lecture on “Influence of North Indian miniature school on Maratha Paintings” 

•     Prof. Ruby Maloni, Former Head, Dept. of History , Mumbai University 
       Delivered a lecture on “Bajirao Peashva I and His  Expansion policy”

•     Prof. (Dr.)P.A. Gavli , Former Head, Dept. of History & AIC, Dr. BAMU, Aurangabad 
      Delivered a lecture on “Administrative Policy of Chh. Shivaji Maharaj”  and  “ Feudalism during Peshava period”

 Annual Seminar and Workshops
 Center organizes a annual Seminar and workshops specifically on topics of Maratha History. This theme is special designed to bring in light new researches done in Maratha History. It also provides a platform for the young researchers to present there researches
 
Annual Seminar 2014-15

•     “Trends in Maratha Historiography”
        Dr. G. T Kulkarni delivered a Lead lecture on New Component of Maratha Historiography 
 
Annual Seminar 2015-16
•    “Socio-Cultural and Economic Aspects of Maratha History “
       Dr. G. B. Shah delivered a Lead lecture on Economic History of Marathas at Khandesh
 
Annual Workshop  2016-17
•     Two Day Workshop on Studies of Numismatics during Maratha period 20th & 21 September 2016 by Dr. Mahesh Karla, Director, Center for Numismatic Information & Studies, Mumbai
 
Symposium 2017-2018
•     Two day Symposium on “ Ahiyladevi Holkar:Life and Work”  in Association with Ahilyabai Holkar Center and Centre for the Study of Social Exclusion and Inclusive Policy, Shivaji University, Kolhapur organized on 12th and 13th  March 2018.
