Shivaji University has very strong Alumni network. To establish a mutually beneficial relationship between University and its alumni, Shivaji University Alumni Association (SUAA) was established in 2013 and registered in 2016 under the Societies Registration Act, 1860. The association acts as a bridge in sharing with alumni the University’s vision and the accomplishments of the students, faculty, and staff of the University. At the same time, the association offers a common platform for alumni to remain engaged with the alma mater.

To be a prior leadership for primary linkage between the Shivaji university and its family of alumni across the globe.

Mission
To develop, encourage and foster life-long relationship between Shivaji university and its alumni through dynamic services, programs and activities.

Goals
► Provide a vibrant forum that promotes interaction and networking among the    alumni of the Shivaji University by organizing and coordinating alumni meets/reunion activities of the Alumni.
► Contribute to the Shivaji University’s vision of being recognized as one of the world’s leading institutions in teaching, research, outreach and innovations.
►Enhance and enrich the experiences of students through interaction with alumni.
►To identify and strengthen channels for significantly contributing to academic matters, student support as well as mobilization of resources.
► Create awareness about Shivaji university and its alumni in the public domain.
► Inculcate an understanding of engagement philanthropy with students so they will become active alumni.
► Communicate exciting and latest news from campus, faculty research, and upcoming alumni events and opportunities to alumni on a regular basis.
► Maintain the update current information of Alumni.
► encourage alumni to generously support the institution through financial means.
► Conduct any and all appropriate activities to accomplish the above goals and objectives stated in the constitution of association.
