‘Advanced Technology Centre – A Centre for Training, Research and Development’ is established in joint collaboration between Indo German Tool Room (IGTR), Aurangabad and Department of Technology, Shivaji University, Kolhapur This centre will run various short term, medium term and long term programs in various domains of engineering and technology for imparting specific knowledge and enhancement of technical skills of the students, faculty members of the various colleges under Shivaji University, Kolhapur jurisdiction. This centre will also create opportunities for the masses to undergo the various courses and obtain the certification, provided they meet the eligibility criteria as specified for particular program. This centre will also conduct tailor made programme to cater the needs of the industries and providing it with skilled manpower.
