STUDY MATERIAL FOR STUDENTS
There is no dearth of literature on Banking and Finance. However, the literature is useful to the professionals or practicing bankers. The MBA/M.Com students find it difficult to prepare for their examination for Financial Management Papers. The chair, therefore, prepared Study Material on 35 important topics and made it available to the students.
SPECIALIZED COURSES
At present there are no Courses available on Banking and Finance at University/College level. Plenty of jobs are available for fresh graduates who have specialized knowledge in any of the areas of Finance. In this connection, two specialized Courses were introduced; one on Treasury/Forex Management and another on Banking and Finance.
The MBA/M.Com students and the students from other disciplines require a lot of support, guidance and help for varied purposes/activities. The nature of guidance includes selection of Project Work/Research Paper, data/statistics for study, information about the institution/ officials and reference to meet them, reports of various Committees, Career Prospects, job contents, so on and so forth. For that Propose the Chair established a Cell which was formally named as Career Guidance and Consultancy Cell.
