EDUREFORM ACTIVITIES

Inaugural events                                                            

The Department of Education has hosted Edureform Inaugural event on virtual platforms, where the project was introduced to a wider audience and prominent expertDr.RajendraParijat,(CSIBER Institute, Kolhapur) were invited as speaker to engage the audience in different topics related to “Artificial Intelligence and Education”.

Expert Talk Series

The EDUREFORM Platform has successfully hosted 4 Expert Talk Series, where educators from around the world presented interesting perspectives on different issues the education systems are currently facing. 

Innovative pedagogical tools

As part of the developmental activities of the EDUREFORM project, the team has prepared and presented a set of 22 innovative pedagogical tools for the Indian students to enhance their critical, creative, and analytical thinking skills. This set of innovative pedagogical tools conform our EDUREFORM curricula which will be taught at our four Indian Universities.

Vocational trainings

      To bring this educational reform to reality, we have organized Vocational training for in-service teachers of Kolhapur and Sangli districts of Maharashtra. School teachers are one of our key targets, that is why by teaching them how to impart the EDUREFORM curricula we have taken one step ahead to prepare Indian secondary school children and upgrade their Aanalytical, Critical and Creative thinking skills to be fit for the labour market.

EDUREFORM Handbook for Innovative Pedagogy 

 EDUREFORM Handbook for Innovative Pedagogy is the perfect manual for teachers to become facilitators in the 21st century. The Handbook equips teachers and educators with the right information and guidelines to use our innovative pedagogies and to feel ready to nurture creativity, critical and analytical thinking skills in their classrooms

EDUREFORM Book

The EDUREFORM Book is currently available online and freely accessible to all containing the pedagogical tools selected and developed by the Consortium.  We have also developed a MOOC Course which will allow educators and teachers from around the globe to study and learn about our pedagogical tools.

 EDUREFORM Student Mobility Programme

The Department of Education, ShivajiUniversity, Kolhapur organized EDUREFORM Students Mobility Programme from 5 ^th June to 24 ^th June 2023.

The programme started with the Inaugural ceremony at the Auditorium of the Department. In all 5 students attended this mobility programme. Two students of SPPU, Pune, two students of Chitkara University and one student of Vadodara University attended this programme.

During the first week (5 th June to 10 th June23) the Instructional aides Workshop was planned through which students learnt how to prepare various teaching aids .Expert teachers lectures were organized for this workshop. On the last day the Exhibition of Pedagogical Tools was organized in which the students of B.Ed.M.Ed. Sem.II and the guest students exhibit their tools.

From 12 ^thJune to 16 ^th June (Second week) students presented EDUREFORM Pedagogical Tools in the classroom .The faculty members also taught various EDUREFORM Pedagogical Tools and guided students.

The visit to Shivaji University Museum,Botanical Garden and Walk through the green campus of the University was also arranged for attending the Mobility Programme.           

From 19^th to 23^rd June (Third Week) the Workshop on “Constructivist Approach of Teaching” was organized. During this activity various sessions of faculty members were organized and then students presented their Constructivist Lesson plans.

Prof.Dr.P.S.Patankar, Head, Department of Education and Coordinator of the EDUREFORM Project,Dr.V.S.Khandagale,CO-Coordinator of the EDUREFORM Project along with all faculty members and Innovation Manager Dr.Geetanjali Joshi took special efforts for the success of this Mobility Programme.

EDUREFORM Project is trying  to mitigate the impact of the Fourth Industrial Revolution on Indian Education System by introducing innovative pedagogies for in service and pre service Secondary School teachers.8 students from B.Ed.-M.Ed. program of the Department of Education, Shivaji University got a golden opportunity to go abroad and participate in teaching learning processes of European countries such as Italy, Germany and Latvia and 14 students from B.Ed.-M.Ed. and M.Ed. program got a golden opportunity to go to  Indian Universities such as Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune, Maharashtra, Maharaja Sayajirao University,Vadodara,Gujarat, Chitkara University,Chandigarh,Punjab and CXS Solutions ,Kochi,Kerala  and participated there in teaching learning processes .

EDUREFORM Mobility at Indian Universities

                    The students who visited to SPPU,Pune are Punyasree Renjan, Shruti Shinde and Suraj Shinde for mobility programme.

The students who visited to M.S.U.Vadodara are Sanjay Khandekar, Devendra Hirulkar and Tejashree Patil.

Digambar Joshi, Umesh Benake, Santosh Vasekar visited Chitkara International School, Chandigarh and Mansi Shelke,

Punitkumar Patle, Atul Jadhav visited Chitkara University, Chandigarh.

Prashant Bhajanwale, Swati Pandurkar and Ashwini Kale attended mobility programme at CXS Solutions, Kerala.  

EDUREFORM Mobility at European Universities

Mercy Fernandez, Sunita Gautam are selected for EDUREFORM Mobility programme at Italian University Line, Italy.

Aparajita Kanojiya and Seema Pal attended the Mobility Programme at Latvia.

Ashwini Shinde,Sushma Neharkar attended the Mobility Programme at Liceo Artistico Musicale Coreutico Candiani-Bausch, Busto Arsizio,Italy.

Rakhi Nagrale and Tanvi Mane are selected for the Mobility Programme at Hamburg University,Germany.
