The university library was named as a tribute to the memory of Late Barrister Balasaheb Khardekar as ‘Barr. Balasaheb Khardekar Library’ on 24th October, 1981 and was inaugurated at the auspicious hands of Hon'ble Shri. O.P. Mehra, the then, Chancellor and Governor of Maharashtra. The new library building of Barrister Balasaheb Khardekar library was inaugurated on 24th January, 1996 at the auspicious hands of Hon’ble Dr. P.C.
