Special Cell

The University has set up a Special Cell to monitor implementation of reservation policy and there is a Standing Committee for SCs and STs that regularly holds the meetings and gives suggestions. Special Cell takes review of reservation quota, backlog and cadre wise quota of different reservation categories (roster). Admission through the 50 Percent reservations for BCs including SCs, STs and OBCs according to the statutory provisions and the Special Cell monitors implementation of the policy.

    • Admission Process
      1. To collect the information about availability of guide from respective Research Guide/Departments/ Colleges for M.Phil students.
      2. Designing of application form for M.Phil. Entrance.
      3. To publish Entrance Notification Advertisement in the news paper/s and also university web-site.
      4. Receipt of on-line application Form from the students with required fees.
      5. Scrutiny of application forms etc.
      6. To Display of Name list & summary of M.Phil. student on university web-site.
      7. Entrance examination of M.Phil.
      8. Assessment of Answer books.
      9. To Display the result of entrance examination on university web-site.
      10. To display schedule of interviews in the concern departments of eligible candidates.
      11. To display the Final Merit List.
      12. Allotment of Research Guide to the concern students.
      13. Collection of synopsis from concern students by the respective departments.
      14. Scrutiny of the synopsis by Scrutiny Committee.
      15. Submission of application form & synopsis with report of scrutiny committee to P.G.B.U.T.R. Section by the respective department.
      16. Registration & Registration Fee.
         
    • Evaluation Process
      1. Appointment of Panel of referees and viva-voce experts.
      2. Asking willingness to the referee.
      3. Telegram of willingness if required.
      4. Dispatch of Evaluation letter with dissertation.
      5. Telegram regarding evaluation report with gradation chart.
      6. Confirmation of Viva-voce date.
      7. Viva-voce Notice.
      8. Conduct of Viva-voce in the concern department.
      9. To check the one publication article.
      10. I.O.N. to the B.Sc. Section with all gradation charts to declare the result of student.
         
    • Registration Process
      1. To send Registration letter to the concern departments after R.R. Committee recommendation.
      2. Checking of Eligibility of students through Eligibility section.
      3. Collection of yearly Fees up to submission of M.Phil. Dissertation.
      4. Change in Title/ Change in Guide / Change in Topic / Permission changing the medium.
      5. Re-Registration (if required)
      6. Checking of Result of Course Work Examination.
      7. Submission of Dissertation.

      3. To publish the Advertisement with the date of entrance examination of Ph.D. admission in the news paper/s and also university web-site.
      4. Receipt of on-line application Form from the students with required fees.
      5. Scrutiny of application forms.
      6. To Display the list of student for Exemption of in Ph.D. entrance examination on university web-site.
      7. To Display of Name list / summary of Ph.D. student on university web-site.
      8. Entrance examination of Ph.D.
      9. Assessment of Answer books.
      10. To Display the result of entrance examination on university web-site.
      11. Display schedule of interview and list o eligible candidate for interview.

Stats Section

Stat Section is always extends full co-operations to the colleges which are eligible to receive grants from the UGC. Various proposals of eligible colleges in regard to the grant are to be sent in the prescribed format through University (Stat Section) to the respective funding agencies. Stat Section collects information from the affiliated colleges, HOD's & Section Heads of the University and sent it to the Govt., & U.G.C. asked for. Stat section also Co-ordinates the link between UGC & Colleges in every aspects.
