Welcome to Barr. Balasaheb Khardekar Knowledge Resource Center Portal which is a gateway for exploring the treasure of knowledge through various information sources, services, products and library related activities.

        In the present ICT environment, the role of Knowledge Resource Centre (KRC) is multidimensional and multifaceted. KRC is not expected only to provide documentation services by making a provision of a system for storing both print and digital collection of reading materials but also to modernize its services, products and library related activities by making a provision for functionality to develop overall system.

          Barr. Balasaheb Khardekar Knowledge Resource Centre  is a well-known and reputed library in the region of southern Maharashtra because of its different special features like  Academic Resource Center (ARC) which caters the needs of researchers in changing digital environment, Resource Center for Inclusive Education (RCIE) which offers services to persons with disabilities, implementation of Indian Research Information Network System (IRINS) project of INFLIBNET, which shows profiles of faculties in Shivaji University with their scholarly resources and journal articles , citations, h-index, patents etc., Compiled Online Literature on Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj , availability of   ‘Free Open Educational Resources’,  ‘Shivdnyansagar’:  Institutional Repository of Shivaji University and INFLIBNET Access Management Federation (INFED) which provides remote access to  subscribed e-resources . Recently a versatile single solution platform to access the library resources from anywhere and anytime and on many devices is made available through ‘Knimbus’ discovery services.

        Barr. Balasaheb Khardekar Knowledge Resource Center is a knowledge hub for the stakeholders and carrying out the various responsibilities for the development, modernization, up keeping and management of university Knowledge Resource Center. It is playing a pivotal role in the transmission of information for higher education and I Wel - come you all through this BBKKRC portal with an appeal to exploit all our resources.
