Department has academic flexibility introduced by University from June 2007 to modify and revise the syllabus. The M. Sc. syllabus has been fine tuned in this respect and made more advanced than the earlierone. This syllabus has been introduced from June 2008 with limited choice based Credit System along with Continuous Internal Evaluation (CIE). New papers have been included as per the choice based credit system (CBCS) in the year 2013. Department also have other academic programs like M.Phil. and Ph.D. in Microbiology. Department has organized total 04 webinars/ conferences/ seminars/ competitions for students and faculty members.
Course Structure
Intake capacity for the M. Sc. course is 30 students per year. M.Sc. microbiology course comprises 16 theory papers of four credit hours each and eight practical courses of four credit hours
