The Department of Chemistry has successfully organized six national seminars and two international symposia. Russian Foundation for scientific partnership awarded a Gold Medal to Shivaji University for organizing International Symposium on “Drug Discovery and Processes Research”. So far Department has conducted 17 Refresher courses for College and University teachers and 15 workshops to provide special coaching to P. G. students for preparations of NET /SET examinations and as well as competitive examinations to enter administrative services at state and national level.
