The Department building is situated on the southern side of the University campus and occupies 12,830 Sq. feet area. It is a two-storey building. It has cell biology, entomology, animal physiology aquaculture fisheries and sericulture laboratories, museum, store, chemical preparatory rooms, seven research laboratories, fourteen staff rooms, computer room, instrumentation room and auditorium. Laboratories are well equipped. Department has animal house with well furnished animal cell culture laboratory.
