Department has established a self sufficient research facility in terms of laboratories and equipments. A fully functional Molecular Biology Laboratory where a routine DNA Barcoding work including DNA/gene sequencing is carried out.  A number of grants for instrumentation development are received under the funding programs including DST-FIST, UGC SAP I & II, DST PURSE etc. Students from collaborating institutes as well as constituent units of Shivaji university have an access to the facility and routinely carrying out their important experiments.
