Facilities/services offered

•    The Department has four class rooms out of which two have ICT facilities.
•    The Department has a well equipped student Laboratory and one research Laboratory with internet facilities.
•    Computers- 140 PCs, L.C.D -3 Units, U.P.S.(7.5 kVA) 2 units, U.P.S. (5 kVA) 1 unit and UPS (20 kVA) 1 unit
•    Commercial statistical software available: SAS, MINITAB, MATLAB, SYSTAT, STATISTICA, SPSS and MATHEMATICA
•    A good number of books and journals available in the central library.
•    In addition to Central Library, the Department has its own Student Library in which various reference books, journals and text books (multiple copies) are available

Faculty members are engaged in a number of extension activities related to hostel, NSS,     University administration, plantation activities, Science day Celebration, etc.
