B.Lib.I.Sc. : One Year Regular Programme in Two Semesters with CBCS Pattern 

• Medium of Instruction: Medium of instruction shall be in English and Medium of Examination shall be in English or Marathi.
• Eligibility:  The course shall be open to graduates (in any subject) of any recognized university. The candidates before being admitted to the course shall be required to undergo the Entrance Test conducted by the Shivaji University, Kolhapur.
• Theory Examination: 05 Theory Courses Per Semester: 500 Marks (80+20 Pattern).
• Practical Examination:  03 Practical Courses Per Semester: 300 marks (80+20 Pattern).
• Total Examination Marks For Each Semester: 800 Marks.
• Total Marks (Semester I & II): 1600 Marks. 

M.Lib.I.Sc. : One Year Regular Programme in Two Semesters with CBCS Pattern 

• Medium of Instruction: Medium of Instruction and Examination shall be in English.
• Eligibility:   Candidates seeking admission to the M. Lib. and I. Sc. Programme must hold Bachelor of Library and Information Science Degree of this University or equivalent thereto of any other University. The candidates before being admitted to the course shall be required to undergo the Entrance Test conducted by the Shivaji University, Kolhapur.
• Theory Examination : 05 Theory Courses Per Semester : 500 Marks (80+20 Pattern)
• Practical Examination :  03 Practical Courses Per Semester : 300 marks(80+20 Pattern)
• Total Examination Marks For Each Semester : 800 Marks
• Total Marks (Semester I & II) : 1600 Marks

   M.Phil. : One Year Regular Course

             The department conducts Regular M. Phil Programmes.

• Theory Examination : 2 theory papers : 100 Marks For Each Paper & One optional paper : 80 Marks Theory + 20 Marks  Review Presentation (Total 300 Marks)
• Dissertation : 200 Marks
• Viva – Voce : 50Marks
• Seminar and Test Assignment : 50Marks
• Total Marks : 600 Marks
