“Chopstick Painting Workshop”
All students had an opportunity to learn about the cultural significance of chopsticks in various Asian countries. They enjoyed learning different techniques and styles of painting on chopsticks. The expert explained the participants the proper way to use chopsticks. |

A special program featuring documentaries on famous cities in Russia, Japan, Germany and France with their iconic landmarks, popular streets, and unique traditions.

“New Year Celebration”
The students enjoyed the exotic cultures of languages they are learning. They performed songs, played games. A screening of documentaries about New Year celebrations in Russia, Japan, France, and Germany, highlighting cultural diversity and festive traditions was a point of attraction.

“Birth anniversary of Haruki Murakami”. A program was organized to celebrate life and works of Japanese famous Author. A documentary was shown on his life journey. Sketches and paintings created by students in honor of Haruki Murakami were displayed in the classroom. |

A visit by Shantiniketan School teachers and students to the department under the program “Foreign Literature Expo”. Teachers of Foreign languages featured a comprehensive presentation on French, German, Russian, and Japanese literature. The students were introduced to famous authors and poets from these languages. A PPT on various courses in foreign languages available at the department as well as job opportunities in foreign languages was presented. |

Department organized a program “International Table Manners and Etiquette” jointly with D. Y. Patil College of Hospitality, Kolhapur.
Mr. Ruben Kale, a professor from D. Y. Patil School of Hospitality and his students demonstrated basic dining etiquettes and showed the proper way to conduct oneself at the dining table. |

“Birth Anniversary of French writer Victor-Marie Hugo” was celebrated in the department.
Students were shown an informative documentary showcasing the life and works of Victor-Marie Hugo. Students learning French language read his famous quotes and explained them in English, highlighting the timeless relevance of his words. |

“Hinamatsuri” a Japanese Doll Festival was celebrated in the department.
Students learning Japanese Language showcased their creativity by making their own Hina dolls and decorating them beautifully.
To spread joy, students distributed sweets, symbolizing the sweetness and happiness associated with the festival. |

“International Women’s Day” was celebrated in the department.
All Students enthusiastically participated in this program and read famous poems and articles highlighting women’s vital role in society and education.
Students also shared their perspectives in an open debate on the topic: "Does the 21st century woman need to be empowered?" |

“Maslenista Week” a Russian festival was celebrated in the department.
Students learning Russian language gave PPT presentation on how Maslenitsa is celebrated in Russia, sharing interesting facts, videos, and songs related to the festival.
Students actively participated in making and tasting the Russian blinis and tea, experiencing Russian cuisine for the first time. |

Documentaries were screened showing life and works of these authors.
