Symposium was organized on the book titled ‘Role of Rod Marathas in the battle
of Panipat’. The symposium was inaugurated by Hon. Vice-Chancellor, Professor
N.J.Pawar Principal Vamanrao Katamble ,Dr. Jaysingrao Pawar ,Indrajit Sawant
Vasantrao Mulik, Dr. Arun Bhosale and many other scholars participated in the
Symposium.
Speaking on the occasion Professor Pawar urged the need of bringing forward
the real history, as it inspires the society. Dr. Vasantrao More, the auther
of book said “even today the Rod Marathas have great faith in Chhtrapati
Shivaji . After seven years of research I could trace the roots of Rod
Marathas.”
The
Symposium was well attended by student and scholars.
