Shivaji University’s Students Council was formulated on 4th October, 2011. It
includes 39 representatives of various University Departments.

Ghatage and Anil Aglave (Journalism and Communication), Maruti Wagh and
Basavraj Kumbhar (Commerce), Megharani Mokashi (Chemistry), Amruta Sumant
(Industrial Chemistry), Chaitrali Bagade (Applied Chemistry), Uday Chavan
(Physics), Snehalata Kamble (Biochemistry), Nutan Patil (Botany), Amruta
Bhosale (Zoology), Prajakta Salunkhe (Statistics), Neelam Ghadage
(Electronics), Pooja Humane (Mathematics), Mangesh Thorat (Agrochemicals),
Sayli Randive (Microbiology), Manali Rane (Biotechnology) Sneha Kasbekar (Food
Science and Technology), Prashant Khatkar (Geography), Pallavi Sathe and Rahul

Chancellor nominated representatives are: Geeta Devkar (Political Science),
Rajashree Lad (History), Shurti Katti (Environmental Science).
