On
August 03, 2011, Shivaji University, and Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka
renewed the agreement for collaborative work (Memorandum of Understanding) for
next 5 years (upto 2016). The MOU was initially signed with the objectives of
providing opportunities for promoting institutional linkage between the two
universities and exploring other avenues for purposeful collaborations. On
behalf of Shivaji University, The MOU was signed by Prof. C. D. Lokhande, Co-Ordinator,
International Co-operation Cell and Prof. Rupasinghe, Sabaragamuwa University.
Under this MOU, there is scope for the collaborative research in the subjects
like Geography, Economics, Statistics, Physics, Chemistry, Agrochemicals and
Pest Management.
