Birth Anniversary of Dr. Appasaheb Pawar, the first Vice Chancellor of Shivaji
University was celebrated by Dr. Appasaheb Pawar Earn and Learn Prabodhini.
Dr. Pawar was instrumental in starting the Earn and Learn Scheme for the
students of the University. The program was organized on 5th May 2011at the
Humanities Auditorium.
Eminent Historian Dr. Jaysingrao Pawar was the chief guest of the function.
Prof. N. J. Pawar, Hon. Vice Chancellor, Shivaji University presided over the
function. The meritorious students of the Vidyarthi Bhavan were felicitated at
the hands of Dr. Jaysingrao Pawar and Prof. N. J. Pawar. Many Alumni members
of the Vidhyarthi Bhavan were present on the occasion. The program was
organized by Principal Bhairav Kumbhar, Dr. C. T. Pawar, Dr. B. L. Patil,
Prof. G. S. Hiremath and Prin. S. J. Naik.
