Workshop of Controller of Examinations of all Universities in Maharashtra was
organised at Shivaji University. Dr. A.B. Rajage, BCUD inaugurated the
Workshop. He explained the need to solve the problems in examinations. On the
occasion Dr. D. V. Muley, Registrar, Dr. B.M. Hirdekar, COE and many officers
from different Universities were present. Mrs. Ashwini Mahadeshwar proposed
vote of thanks.
During the discussion the focus was on uniform examination systems. Issues
such as similar examination dates for all the Universities, relaxation in the
transfer rules of students from one university to another etc. were discussed.
In order to bring about uniformity in the examination system it was decided to
constitute a committee, representing all the Universities. The draft prepared
by this committee will be sent to State government and Technical Board.
