At
the ‘Ashvamedh-2010’ a sports competition organized by Dr. Panjabrao Deshmukh
Agriculture University, the players of Shivaji University have dominated the
games. In the women’s Kho-Kho competition Shivaji University defeated YCMOU
Nasik. In the men’s Kho-Kho also Shivaji Universirty, Kolhapur won the match.
Mr. Dheeraj Mishra of Mumbai could manage to won first prize in triple jump
competition whereas Mr. Sagar Mali of Shivaji University, Kolhapur stood
second and Anniruddh Joshi of Aurangabad secured third place.
