Dhirendra Mujumdar devoted his life for selfless service, as truly a Gandhian.
His birth anniversary was observed by the Centre of Gandhian Studies on 21st
November 2010. Veteran freedom fighter Shri Datta Shinde garlanded the
photograph of Dhirenda. Prof. M.S. Padmini, Head, Dept. of Education, Dr.
Bharati Patil, Coordinator, Centre of Gandhian Studies, also paid homage to
Dhirenda. Teachers, students and administrative staff of the Centre also paid
their tribute. Centre of Gandhian has taken special efforts to highlight ideas
and work of Dhirendra Mujumdar, which have remained unexplored, through
publishing a book.
