A
study tour of total 28 teachers of Shivaji University visited Bangkok to
attend “GreenTech 2010 - International conference. Dr. Girish Kulkarni, who
led this study tour, has given the information that during this visit they
also visited Asian Institute of Technology, Bangkok. The tour was sponsored by
Dnayandeep Education and Research Foundation, Sangli. This International
conference was arranged by Asian Institute of Technology, with whom Shivaji
University had signed MOU. On 24th January Prof. R. S. Hiremath of AIT
inaugurated the conference. Environmentalist from India and Thailand presented
their research papers in the conference. They visited AIT University and
Thiland Environment Institute on 25th January. Teachers of Shivaji University
Dr. P. D. Raut, Vijay Kore, Sunanda Kore, Shamkumar Jadhav, Iranna, Manjerekar,
Asawari Jadhav, Nileesha Desai, Shrikant Bhosale, Ranjeet Yadav, Ramesh
Salokhe along with non-teaching staff from Kolhapur, Sangli, Satara
participated in this international conference. Prof. A. A. Dange, Ag.
Vice-Chancellor, Shivaji University, gave his best wishes to the team before
they left for the conference at Bangkok.
