Dr. Arun Bhosale’s speech in Krantisinha Nana Patil Smriti Lecture series at Kisan Veer College, Wai

In the Krantisinha Nana Patil Smriti Lecture series organized by Shivaji University Prof. Arun Bhosale’s speech on ‘Parallel Government of Satara- An introspection’ was organized at Kisan Veer College,Wai . Dr. Sardar Mujawar, Act. Principal Dr. Sardar Mujawar chaired the session . Shri Anil Joshi , secretary, Janata Education society, Wai, graced the occasion by his presence .
In his speech Prof. Arun Bhosale said that the Parallel government of Satara was one of the glorious underground movement all over India. Courageous & spirited people of the district supported the freedom fighters of the movement. It was the organizational skill & devotion of the freedom fighters which led to unfailing revolt against the British government. They used the strategy of guerilla warfare, adopted by Chh. Shivaji. Krantisinha Nana Patil, Yashwantrao Chavan, Kisan Veer, Kasegaonkar Vaidya, Nathaji lad, Nagnath Naikwadi, Vasantdada Patil were important leaders of the movement. The British government failed to break some the movement as it was strongly rooted in the masses & therefore it assumed significant place in the history of freedom struggle of India.
