In a lecture series - ‘Prof. Narhar Vishnu Karekar (Vidnyan)’ - organized by
Shivaji University, Prof. Kakaruddin Bennur delivered a lecture on ‘Islam, Women
and Scientific Attitude’ (‘Islam, Striya ant Vaidnyanik Drishtikon’). He
discussed the various aspects of the brutal practices of Taliban and its
devastating political impact. He mentioned that Taliban mindset does not allow
scientific approach and attitude to life and society. The guest was introduced
by Prof. (Dr.) Ashok Chausalkar, Hon. Prof. (Dr.) A. A. Dange Chaired the
session, Mrs. Mahadeshvar proposed hearty vote of thanks.
