A joint workshop was
organized by two Universities on 8th and 9th January
2007 to finalize the research priorities of the collaboration. While
inaugurating the workshop, Dr. S. H. Han Professor of Hanyang University said
that combined efforts of India and South Korea would go a long way in
developing research facilities in both the countries. He said “We are
interested in creating Asia Hub which includes countries like China, Japan,
and Malaysia. Development of New technology is an importance part of it.
South Korea is a dynamic country which is willing to face change.”
Dr. M. M. Salunkhe,
Hon’ble Vice-chancellor chaired the function. Dr. B.K. Chougule, Head of
Department of Physics welcomed the guests and Dr. C. D. Lokhande co-ordinator
of the program proposed hearty vote of thanks.
