University has entered
into a MoU with Bank of India by which students of M. Tech and B. Tech can
seek educational loan up to Rs. 14 lakhs from Bank of India, said Dr. Sawant
in an awareness campaign for M. Tech and B. Tech courses held at Vivekanand
College, Kolhapur on November 16, 2006. Further, he added, these courses are
recognized by AICTE. A student
passing 12 th standard securing 50% marks is eligible for this course. Shivaji
University has prepared project of worth Rs. 3.5 crore. This programme has
also provision of student scholarships of Rs. 35 lakhs.
