Since the Department
of Commerce & Management is an academic department
on the campus of (Shivaji University.) it is under
director control of Hon’ble Vice Chancellor &
Management Council of the university, whereas the
academic decision are governed by the Board of
Studies (BOS), Faculty of Commerce and Management &
Academic council of the university. The Management
Council meets once in a month, whereas the Academic
Council meets twice in a year. The BOS & Faculty
meetings are called as the need may arise.
There is separate grievance committee constituted
under the Maharashtra State University Act for the
grievance redressal mechanism for faculty, staff &
students.
