- Organized Book exhibition during Feb. 25 to 27,2009 on account
of "National Science Day" on the topic "Expanding Horizons of Science With emphasis on Astronomy"
- NAAC peer team Visited Library On Feb.6,2009
- One day Regional seminar was organized in association with Department of Library and Information science on January 5, 2009 on the occasion of 'Granthmahostav 2008'
for the benefit of library staff, students and Librarians from affiliated colleges.
The theme of the seminar was 'Advances in Library Practices'.
- The library was awarded first prize on University Foundation Day, Nov. 18, 2008 i.e. for the best maintenance
during the 'Swachata Saptaha Abhiyan' of the University.
- UGC peer team visited the Library on August 19, 2008for reviewing XI five year plan proposal.
