  Facilities offered: 

Microwave bench with accessories, 8 and 16 bit microprocessor and microcontroller trainers, Digital Signal processing work station, Digital logic Analyzer, computers. The following are also procured Digital Storage oscilloscope of different frequencies and waveform generator, Digital communication and optical fiber trainer systems, Computer LAN system, double walled dual humidity chamber and Internet is also available to students.

Instruments:

  • Storage CRO

  •  Test equipment for Telecommunications like HF generators, general purpose CROs and field strength meter

  • Trainer kits: Microcontrollers, Transducers, Power Electronics, Microwave, communication, color TV, VLSI: CPLD/ FPGA Trainer kits.

  • Software: Licensed software VLSI (Xilinx), Keil for Microcontrollers, MATLAB

  •  Computers : LAN of about 20 PCs is available for the students, catering to need of Networking & Programming.

  Research:

Communication engineering, Fuzzy Electronics, Microprocessor and Microcontroller based control circuits, Switching devices and sensors.

Ongoing major research project :

Development of Humidity sensor (UGC, New Delhi)
